Description
Maestro Peter Oundjian joins the DSO for a performance of Beethoven's serenely intimate Piano Concerto No. 4. The concert opens with a Detroit premiere by Canadian Jacques Hétu based on the poetry of Émile Nelligan, and concludes with Ralph Vaughan Williams' Symphony No. 4, called by composer William Walton "...the best symphony since Beethoven."
