The Detroit Symphony Orchestra is Michigan's premier performing arts institution. The DSO performs concerts in historic Orchestra Hall, which is among the most preeminent concert halls in the world. Orchestra Hall is part of The Max M. Fisher Music Center, which offers expanded opportunities to create musical, cultural and educational programs to serve a reinvigorated community.
It is destined to expand the Orchestra's reach as a cultural destination in downtown Detroit. Throughout the year, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra also performs a variety of community outreach concerts in other venues as well.
