IMPROVISATION AND COMBOS
Unique to the Civic Jazz Program are Improvisation Clinics and combos that run weekly before jazz band rehearsals. Led by jazz mentors, these clinics and combos offer students an outlet to hone their improvisation skills in a more individualized setting. All students in the Civic Jazz Program are placed in either a combo or clinic at the beginning of the Civic season.
